Cathedral celebrates Harmony Day

Last week the Junior School children enjoyed their visit with Kerry Spina from Kids in Harmony.  Hands were chosen as a theme to represent our actions and the choices we make each day to create more harmony in celebration of Harmony Day.

Cathedral goes red for Day for Daniel

Cathedral’s Middle and Senior School students will come to school dressed in red on Friday 25 October for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation’s annual Day for Daniel.

The Day for Daniel is a National Day of Action to raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention.

Schoolies volunteer their time in Cambodia

A group of Year 12 students from The Cathedral School will have a different Schoolies Week celebration to most other teenagers their age when they visit the Home of Hope in Cambodia as volunteers for two weeks with Projects Abroad.

Farewell Class of 2013

With 13 years of schooling coming to an end for the Class of 2013, the students of The Cathedral School are getting ready to walk through the school gates for the last time on Friday 15 November.

Congratulations Class of 2013

Following an action packed year, highlighted by outstanding academic, vocational and co-curricular achievements culminating in their graduation four weeks ago, most of our Year 12 cohort are now looking forward to the University offers they will receive from QTAC in the next month.

Cathedral implements 21st Century learning

As most students around the region pack their bags for the start of the school year, the school bags of Cathedral’s Year 4 and Year 7 students will be much lighter as their iPads are packed instead of as many school books.
