With 13 years of schooling coming to an end for the Class of 2013, the students of The Cathedral School are getting ready to walk through the school gates for the last time on Friday 15 November.
The Class of 2013 will celebrate their final week with a variety of end of year celebrations including the Presentation Ceremony (Thursday, 6pm), Valedictory Service (Friday, 12 noon) and Year 12 Formal at Southbank Convention Centre (Friday, 6.15pm).
Director of Studies Mr Allan Carman said “The 2013 Year 12 students have had a great year and have done particularly well in the academic, cultural and sporting fields.”
“Cathedral has a proud tradition of achieving both high OP results and percentages of students who enter tertiary study and we are expecting nothing different this year with the results being released in December” added Mr Carman.
The Year 12 students will be farewelled from the school on Friday morning with all the students from Pre-Prep to Year 11 forming an emotional Guard of Honour throughout the school grounds..
