As Principal of The Cathedral School, I welcome you and your family to our dynamic, co educational Anglican School.
The Cathedral School epitomises all that is exciting and progressive about independent schooling in Australia.
It is a centre of academic excellence, providing every student from P-12 with a world class education, while focussing on the pastoral care of the individual, in a Christian environment.
Our community is multiculturaly diverse, with both Indigenous and International students contributing to a school life which is tolerant, patient and kind. It is a microcosm of the modern world embracing cultural diversity and acceptance of different backgrounds and life experiences.
Life-long friendships are forged as students work and play together in a supportive, inclusive community.
While Cathedral prides itself on being a modern, independent school, it is fiercely proud of its history and the role it has had in shaping education in North Queensland for over 90 years.
