Staff at The Student Health Centre care for children and adolescents with bumps, bruises, broken bones, and sometimes broken hearts. Whilst they are primarily responsible for the boarding students, they also care for day students and manage any medical emergencies.
The Centre boasts a staff of three highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurses who most effectively meet the health care needs of the growing school community. They all bring valuable, varied experiences, all three of them also have the important qualification of being parents of young children.
The staff of The Student Health Centre are all committed to the implementation of “health promotion and education” for the students of The Cathedral School. The staff also work very closely with the medical team, in particular doctors, at the Mundingburra Medical Centre.
Student Health Centre hours are 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday with a nurse rostered on-call after hours, for the boarding students.
