Parents and Friends’ Association

The Parents and Friends’ Association (P & F) is an active and vibrant friend-raising and fund-raising group within The Cathedral School and has been a vital part of our school community for many decades. The committee also hosts a complimentary Welcome Back BBQ for all families at the start of the school year.

Each year the P & F raise significant funds through their work and this money is invested back into the school in a wide range of areas including the following items purchased in 2018:

  • ELC wall decals and shade trees

  • Junior School Giant Chess set and purpose made Music carpet

  • Wonder Hub artefacts and outdoor garden

  • Rowing vehicle decals

  • Boarding bird cage

  • Middle & Senior School outdoor table tennis tables

  • Rock Centre major sound and vision upgrade

The P & F also donate to local charities. In 2018 a donation was made to Food Relief NQ.

All parents are welcome to attend meetings, dates can be found here and also in the school calendar. Meetings are held in the Junior School Wonder Hub at 7pm unless otherwise advertised.
